Hello, my name is Domenico Di Leo, from Napoli, Italy! I’m a Verification and Validation Engineering with 5+ years of experience of testing on various software systems (embedded systems as well as web based application). I know programming/markup languages (Java, C, Awk, Perl, shell scripting, Python, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript), testing management framework (TestLink, Salome), continuos integration tool (Hudson), database server (Postgres, MySQL), application server (Apache Tomcat), requirement management tools (IBM Doors) and software development platform (Tuleap). I would like to put my competencies at honorable cause such as the one behind OpenMRS, therefore I’m willing to join the OpenMRS testing team.

In my spare time, I’m a tango dancer (at least I’m trying to become a sort of dancer :stuck_out_tongue:) and I like practicing sport

Hi, I’m Vedarsh Shah, a participant in GCI from the United States. This is my first time getting involved in an open source community, and I’m very excited to make a difference in OpenMRS. I especially loved the motto “Write Code, Save Lives”.

This is also a good post to give an introduction of yourself if you are participating in GCI: https://talk.openmrs.org/t/gci-2016-participant-mentor-virtual-meet-and-greet/8842

Hi, I’m Chris Thant from New York. I’m a software architect/engineer with more than 15 years experiences. While I was looking for an open source framework to maintain the EMR and EHR, I stumbled upon OpenMRS.org. I’m excited to learn more about the framework and to be part of the community. Even though I came from very extensive microsoft background with angularjs, I’m sure I’m going to love this framework as I’m already in the process of setting things up. Hope to connect with you guys in the future.

Best Regards, Chris Thant

Hi everyone. I am Jai Tatia, a 2nd year Computer Science and Engineering student from India. I have been trying to enter the open source community for quite some time. After having read about OpenMRS, I am very excited in being a part of this community, especially since its working in the medical field and the primary language here is Java. I enjoy the learning curve involved in such projects. Apart from coding my interest lies in music and sports. I am eagerly awaiting to experience what this community has for me and what i can contribute to it.
