Welcome! Please introduce yourself

Hello everyone!

I’m thrilled to be joining this open source project as a QA tester and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Theona, and I’m an entry-level manual QA tester. I recently completed the roadmap provided by [roadmap.sh/qa], which gave me a comprehensive understanding of the QA field. Additionally, I took the “Become a manual tester: Guide for complete beginners” course on LinkedIn to further enhance my skills.

Although I don’t have any prior professional experience as a QA engineer, I have a deep desire to learn and grow in this field. I am excited to contribute my skills to this open source project and make a positive impact.

I am committed to ensuring the highest level of quality in the project by diligently testing and identifying any potential issues or bugs. I will work closely with the development team to provide valuable feedback and assist in creating a seamless user experience.

I understand that open source projects rely on collaboration and teamwork, and I’m eager to be a proactive and supportive member of this community. I look forward to learning from the experienced members and contributing to the project’s success.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, need assistance, or have any suggestions for improving the project’s QA processes. I’m excited to be part of this project and contribute to its growth!

Thank you for the opportunity, and I’m looking forward to working with all of you.

Best regards, Theona

Hey y’all,

I’m a creative technologist with 10+ years of software development experience across several frontend and backend languages and frameworks, most recently TypeScript and React for the frontend, and JavaScript / SQL / Python + microservices on the backend. Beyond that, I also enjoy drawing, painting, photography–and basketball!

I am eager to put my skills to use in this worthy cause! It’s also a nice excuse to learn a bit about Java development and see how a large, distributed team operates. Looking forward to interacting with you folks!

John Gresh here. I’m a software developer/informatics specialist/consultant here at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). We are interested in OpenMRS for some of the field work we are doing. We are especially interested in implementing FHIR based solutions and were looking at OpenMRS for proof of concept and testing purposes as well as for production applications for patients and clinicians.
