Its quite overwhelming i can attest. Spent the past month still trying to find my way around even when I already have a focus and interest in backend / REST API mostly.
It also looks like there aren’t really introductory issues to work on, at least for the backend team.
I followed the link you shared, helpful but the backend squad link below appears to be broken

HI @cnwadike and @kiwanukasteven21, Apologies for the broken links as we just updated our Confluence and some of the links broke. Here’s the updated link to the Platform team that focuses on the backend. We meet on Wednesdays to review the roadmap, create tickets, and review technical strategies for solving specific problems (especially for bigger projects):

Here’s a couple of examples of things the Platform Team is focused on:
