1.What I find interesting is how OpenMRS and Google together are using student driven initiatives to save lives.

2.I have enthusiastically waited for this year as I have entered the age group to participate and contribute to this amazing project.

  1. I expect to learn and contribute to the project and I want that OpenMRS keeps giving this opportunity to people.

  1. I only found OpenMRS through GCI and I think that it is a very special organization since it is built around helping people. GCI allows young coders to help these organizations and build their own skills for free!

  2. This is my first year participating in GCI.

  3. I expect OpenMRS and GCI to be a very positive experience for the orgs and contributors and I look forward to working with you guys :slight_smile:

  1. OpenMRS is really cool because it is doing good things for people around the world with code. Google Code-in is a nice program because it helps people who are interested in Open Source get involved.
  2. I have not participated in Google Code-in before.
  3. I look forward to becoming involved with an open source community like OpenMRS.

Hi there, I am Bhuvan (sneax10). I am a 15 year old graphic designer and illustrator. This is my first time participating in Google Code-in. I was searching for the kind of tasks i enjoy doing and came across openMRS. The tasks here are very much my style of work. I am looking forward to a wonderful experience.

Hi, I’m Abhay and I am all prepared to start GCI 2019 with OpenMRS .

1.The best thing about GCI is that we get a lot opportunities to enhance our skill in every field whether it is about coding, doing some research work and by join an organization it really boost your knowledge (you know in and out about the organization) which really helps in future.

2.Yes, I am participating GCI from 2016 onwards and this my last year for participating in this contests. I worked in Mifos initiative in 2016, Fossasia and Jboss community in 2017 and 2018.

  1. I generally expect OpenMRS to code more and save more lives .

Hello Everyone, I am NBA_Varenya_GCI. I am very excited to start GCI with OpenMRS.

  • I found interesting that we can learn so much from GCI and implement it ahead. We can also contribute to open source softwares.

  • I didn’t participate in the previous years of GCI. I got to know about this from my school this year only.
