Hi all! I’m a generalist software engineer trying to steer my career towards social & medical justice. I guess right now that means becoming an OpenMRS implementer.
I’m trained in basic prehospital care. I speak Kurmanji Kurdish and Turkish, and am re-learning Spanish here in Chiapas. I’m here working with Compañeros en Salud (PIH Mexico) to replace their old MS Access -based EMR with OpenMRS.
I’m totally new to health information technology and OpenMRS. Expect lots of questions.

Hi everyone,
I am Alex Mochu a software developer at Andela, Kenya currently doing my Apprenticeship.
I am happy to be here and looking forward to contributing to the OpenMRS community. I have always been interested in working on an open source project with distributed developers and I believe this is a great opportunity for me to learn from you all.
I love watching documentaries, fiction/adventure movies, hanging out and making new friends/meeting people.
It feels good to be here.
Regards, Alex
Sorry @hadijah315, just to continue, there could be two scenarios:
a) Doctor and atmost 1 attendent
b) A doctor, a pharmacist and a pathology test person.
There will be approx 15 such centres.
What will you recommend. Also, does OpenMRS also provide for Inventory / ERP/ lab integrations ?
Regards
You are welcome @alexmochu
@asifkhair I might not be in the right position to give you an answer to that but I can refer you to some experienced people. cc @dkayiwa @wyclif
