Hi

I’m Jerry Bate, and I am a retired software developer with experience in Java, Hibernate, Spring, relational databases and javascript, amongst many other (mostly obsolete) things.

I am intrigued by OpenMRS and want to find out more. I’m based in the UK.

Hi!

My name is Eric Henziger and I’m currently in my final year of pursuing my Master of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering at Linköping University, in Linköping, Sweden.

This semester I’m taking a course in large-scale software development where the goal is to learn about and hopefully contribute to a large open source project. I’ve chosen OpenMRS as my project to dive into. So far I’ve been reading through some of the introductory documents and I’m very impressed by the project and community and I look forward to learn more!

Best wishes, Eric

Hi OpenMRS Community,

I’m Christine Ritah Nagadya, originally from Uganda but moved to Nairobi, Kenya in June to work as a software developer at Andela Kenya. I studied Electrical Engineering at University though I have less than no experience in anything power related. I am beyond ecstatic to be part of the OpenMRS community because I’m sure dad will be thrilled to know I am working on something related to the medical field. On a serious note, I am looking forward to not only contribute as a developer but to also learn from the entire community

###Hey Guys!, I’m Gagan Bhalla, I have been a Customer Success & Solution Advocate since 8 years. I have worked across the domains

  • IT-BPO, as Support Manager
  • Healthcare as IT Infra Manager, (EHRMS) Healthcare Product Advocate, Web Solution Manager
  • IT-PMO/Project Management,
  • Telecom as Key Accounts Manager
  • P2P/Supply Chain as Implementation & Launch Manager

I’m here to volunteer for Account Management role. I know people who have been looking for Healthcare solution and I plan to get them the solution.

In 2007, I was able to successfully pitch Pfizer India, a Subset of EHR we were working on. The project was dropped because of the conflict of interest, however that subset was still operational at few hospitals in India.

Thanks #####Gagan Bhalla India Skype: g.bhalla1 Just say “OpenMRS” when you send a request on Skype.

Hello everyone,

I have been working with a team deploying OpenMRS in Nigeria since 2013. I have been involved in project management and implementation of OpenMRS in my organization. I have been working with my team on the deployment of OpenMRS across the three tiers of health facilities managing HIV/AIDS patients in my country. I am a developer currently working under the Health Information Management System unit of my Organisation. OpenMRS is being scaled-up to rural areas for patient monitoring and management.

Nice to meet you.
