I’m Mersenne, a developer interested in contributing to the O3 front-end. I have experience in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. I know the basics of React, too.
I’m excited to get involved with OpenMRS – the community seems very friendly and well-organized, and I’ll be pleased to work on a project in which my work makes a positive impact on the world. My more selfish goal is to work with more experienced developers to gain experience, particularly in React.

I’m a 2nd-year undergraduate student from Sri Lanka, currently working towards becoming a Full-Stack Software Engineer. I’m really passionate about contributing to open-source projects and engaging with developer communities.
When I first learned about this organization, it felt like something so big and beyond my reach—but in 2024, I pushed myself, studied hard, and built a strong foundation in Java. Along the way, I also started developing my interest in research-oriented learning, always looking deeper into concepts to truly understand them.
