You can start here: openmrs-esm-user-onboarding. There are quite a few bugs at the moment, and most of the issues aren’t filed on Jira yet, so you can help by finding and fixing them.
In my opinion, this project is perfect for beginners since it’s meant to give a guided tour to new O3 users, but right now it needs some love and fixes. I’m currently working on it, and it would be awesome if new contributors like you could join and help revive it.
If you discover an issue, please create a ticket for it in Jira and assign it to yourself so others know what you’re working on.
@deborah, welcome to the community! We are truly happy to have you here. @backloguy, thank you for being such a kind and helpful guide! Kindly this is the link for introduction. . That said don’t introduce yourself again @mksd will help us move the post to the correct thread.
I’m excited to join this vibrant group of developers and contributors working on such a meaningful mission!

Hi,
I’m Alexander, a backend developer from Sweden. At my day job I write .NET code for the energy sector. Been looking for an open source project to contribute to that felt meaningful and found this. So superstoked to help in any way I can
My name is Jonus Green, and I’m excited to join the OpenMRS community. I am currently doing software Engineering at the university and in my final year.
I’m particularly interested in improving healthcare through technology, contributing to open-source health systems, learning about electronic medical records.
I look forward to learning from this community, contributing where I can, and collaborating on projects that make an impact in healthcare delivery.
My name is Priyansu Sahoo, and I have experience with healthcare applications, specifically in Health Information Management Systems (HIMS). This project really piqued my interest because of my background in this area.
I’m Cameron Hetzler and have been a professional software engineer in the Java 1.8-22 space for the last 6 years and want to contribute to something outside of work that’ll do some good.
