Welcome! Please introduce yourself

Hey everyone! I’m Nitish Kumar, and I’m really excited to be here and contribute to the OpenMRS community. I’m a developer with experience in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), along with C++ for system-level programming. I love building web applications, working with REST APIs, and implementing secure authentication using OAuth2 and JWT. Open-source development has always fascinated me, and I’m eager to put my skills to good use by contributing to OpenMRS, learning from all of you, and helping improve healthcare technology in the process.

I’m currently studying at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Jabalpur (IIIT Jabalpur), where I’ve been working on projects that involve API integrations, backend development, and security enhancements. I enjoy solving real-world problems through code and collaborating with like-minded people. OpenMRS’s mission of making healthcare more accessible through technology really resonates with me, and I’d love to play a small part in making a difference. Looking forward to contributing and connecting with you all!

Hi everyone, I’m Tochi Chimezie. I’m a developer, mostly building for the web. I have some level of proficiency coding in JS and Python, which are the two best languages (no one should come for me,). Really glad to be able to contribute code to enhance healthcare systems and most importantly doing it alongside some passionate and talented people here on this platform.

Hello. I am Kubo and I work as a software engineer. I normally develop C programs for IoT devices. Last year, I became a member of ASHA, an NPO in Japan. We are supporting the establishment of a healthcare system in Nepal. Although I don’t have any experience in developing and maintaining medical systems, I would like to expand my knowledge and contribute to this community. Thank you all.

My name is Kasim Lohar, and I’m a passionate MERN Stack Developer and Java enthusiast currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in AI & Data Science Engineering. I love building dynamic web applications, and some of my recent projects—like a Spotify Clone, WildSpire (a full-stack adventure booking platform), and WeatherWise (a real-time weather app)—reflect my deep interest in crafting seamless user experiences and integrating powerful APIs.

What excites me most about OpenMRS is its mission to revolutionize healthcare through open-source solutions. The idea that my skills in Java, JavaScript, and scalable application development could contribute to something that truly impacts lives is incredibly motivating. I’d love the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and contribute to the platform in a meaningful way.

Looking forward to the possibility of joining the team and making a difference together. Thank you for your time, and I’d be happy to discuss how I can contribute!
