My name is Migisho Masheka Berchant, and I’m an entrepreneur currently building innovative solutions in healthcare. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore OpenMRS, and I’m excited to share that I am using it as the foundation for a healthcare system we’re developing in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Our project focuses on creating a robust healthcare solution for the DRC, particularly in the east where the situation is impacted by conflict. In addition to the healthcare system, we are also working on a data analysis platform aimed at aggregating and interpreting data from this region. The insights we gather will help us make informed decisions and create meaningful impact. OpenMRS has been instrumental in accelerating our development, and I am honored to be part of this community that supports such important work.
I’m thrilled to join the OpenMRS community and am looking forward to dedicating my time to contribute back. I hope to assist in fixing some of the issues that arise along the way as I work on my projects.
Thank you, and I’m eager to collaborate with all of you!

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Sang and I am a seasoned Java developer with over seven years of experience in software development. I am writing to express my sincere interest in contributing to the OpenMRS project and being a part of its development team.
Throughout my career, I have focused on designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions using Java and various related technologies. I have a strong background in building scalable and modular applications, and I am passionate about leveraging technology to create meaningful impacts, especially in the field of healthcare.
I have closely followed the OpenMRS project and am deeply inspired by its mission to improve healthcare delivery in resource-constrained environments. I believe that my technical skills and my drive to contribute to open-source initiatives would be valuable assets to the team.
