Hi everyone, Im Juliane, not an IT person but anaesthetist and intensivist and passionate about improving health care through system optimisation. I do not have a lot of experience or know how in IT, I am keen to learn however. Specifically, I want to create a database for critical incident reports, something already established in the developed world but still lacking in developing countries due to laking financial resources and lacking open access for apps/data systems. Does anyone have more knowledge on how to create a database where incidents can be reported and then audited within the health care system.

Hello everyone,

My name is Migisho Masheka Berchant, and I’m an entrepreneur currently building innovative solutions in healthcare. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore OpenMRS, and I’m excited to share that I am using it as the foundation for a healthcare system we’re developing in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Our project focuses on creating a robust healthcare solution for the DRC, particularly in the east where the situation is impacted by conflict. In addition to the healthcare system, we are also working on a data analysis platform aimed at aggregating and interpreting data from this region. The insights we gather will help us make informed decisions and create meaningful impact. OpenMRS has been instrumental in accelerating our development, and I am honored to be part of this community that supports such important work.

I’m thrilled to join the OpenMRS community and am looking forward to dedicating my time to contribute back. I hope to assist in fixing some of the issues that arise along the way as I work on my projects.

Thank you, and I’m eager to collaborate with all of you!
