Hi everyone! I’m Kakumirizi Daud a Computer Science Student from Bugema University Uganda. “Write Code. Save Lives” inspired me to be part of the community that saves life all-over the world through writing codes. When am not playing around with codes, I spend my time reading literature!

Hello everyone,

First off, my name is Cody Johnson. I’m a Senior at the University of Pikeville in the Computer Science Program and am taking my capstone class for my bachelor’s degree. My teacher for the class is @howardf64 who has been a big part in broadening my interest and knowledge in computers, along with another professor who has recently retired. I came to college to learn to make software and to do it at a professional level but have never contributed directly with a free and open source software the entire time I’ve known enough to be able to do so… so this is exciting and new.

It may be a while before I’m required to make actual contributions to this project for grades but I wanted to go ahead and get a head start on being here and learning how all of this works.

Best wishes everyone.

Hey OpenMRS family!

My name is Sudhanshu and i’m currently a sophomore in IIITD, India pursuing Computer Science. Both of my parents are doctors and OpenMRS seems to be the road which joins my family’s professions, thus I am really interested in contributing to the the community. I’ve worked on several projects based on Java, Android dev, python and C/C++. I hope to give my best to this community and learn from so many amazing people here! Cheers!

Hi everyone. My name is Patrick Childers and I started a non-profit focused on supporting underserved patients with access to care via telemedicine https://connectingkidswithcare.org/.

I’ve been working on healthcare related mobile apps and closed source EMRs for the last 5 or so years. I’m looking forward to developing some open source modules that will be useful to the existing OpenMRS community.
