Hi, my name is Mike. I am a UK doctor (family/GP) with a PgC in Global eHealth and an MSc in Computer Science. I have been involved with in-house Med IT for my employer for about 20yrs and these days this is the majority of my job - save for a day a week to keep up my clinical registration and competence. However, recently I did 3 months in Nepal - fulltime clinical for a change! - and crossed paths with an organisation who use OpenMRS albeit with a bespoke version of the Bahmni angularjs frontend. I was really impressed, have now become a massive fan and currently I am building a O3 React frontend app as a POC to (hopefully) convince others in my organisation. I would love to be able to contribute to the community in the process. I am especially keen to talk to others with an interest in overcoming the obstacles of using OpenMRS for UK Primary Care (General Practice).
