Hello Community,

The next community meeting is in about two weeks. In preparation for the meeting below are a few things you can do:

  • Register

To register use this link.

Upon successful registration you will automatically receive a personalised zoom link shared via the email you indicate on the registration form and a calendar invite.

Please note: You can only get the meeting invite once you have registered.

  • Meeting timing.

The meeting will take place on 14th and 15th July as from the following times: 12 noon to 5pm UTC | 3pm EAT to 8pm EAT | 1pm - 6pm WAT| 5am-10amPDT|5:30pm-10:30pm IST.

  • Lighting talks.

There will be 2 rounds of lighting talk. One will be general and the other focused on offline and mobile solutions. Below are the sign-up links.

  • Implementer showcase.

OpenMRS Implementers from around the world will briefly show-and-tell visual examples of things they’ve been working on recently. Each Implementer who has signed up will have 10 minutes to share:

  • What problems is your work trying to solve?
  • What are you currently working on?
  • Plans for the next 3-4 months.
  • Pain-points.

  • Squad Showcase.

Each sqaud and team will have strictly 5 Minutes to share a quick update of what they have achieved since the last meeting. In preparation of this, the leads should do the following:

  1. Prepare (or ask your squad members for) any demos.
  2. Add a few bullet points to your squad/team’s slides by 13th July 2021. Mainly a short context and the progress update.

Hello,

A gentle reminder that the Virtual OpenMRS Community Mini-Meeting will take place next week on the 14 and 15 July.

A few things to keep in mind;

  1. You need to register to get the link to the Zoom conference room.

  2. Interested in participating in the meeting? Well, we have some activities you can sign up for. As an individual, we have 2 rounds of lighting talk. One will be general and the other focused on offline and mobile solutions and as an implementer/organization we have the implementer show case.

  3. The meeting will commence and end at the following times: 12 noon to 5pm UTC | 3pm EAT to 8pm EAT | 1pm - 6pm WAT| 5am-10amPDT|5:30pm-10:30pm IST .

  4. For squad and team leads, please ensure you have created your presentation and recorded the demos. For more details check out this post.
