I wanted to give you all a friendly reminder that our first evaluation is coming up soon on July 10, 2023. To help us evaluate the progress of your projects, we kindly request that each of you create a short demo video showcasing the work you’ve completed so far. Please note that the deadline for submission is on or before July 10, as we need enough time to finalize the evaluation before the deadline. To give you some idea, I have included some demos from previous years for reference.
Please don’t forget to post your video as a reply to this thread so that your mentors and fellow students can provide you with feedback and support. We’re all here to help you succeed!
And for those of you working on 22-week projects, your evaluation will start on August 14, 2023.

Wow! I was blown away by the amazing demos from @randila, @thembo42 and @mherman22 ! Each of you brought something unique to the table. @Randila, your animations were absolutely mesmerizing. @thembo42, your explanations were clear, and I loved how you referenced previous meetings to tie everything together. And @mherman22, your demo was simply incredible. I couldn’t look away! Keep up the great work, everyone!
Wow @jexsie! Your demo is truly impressive and I especially love your progress tracker. It’s a fantastic model for others to follow. @deb, your slides are so colourful and engaging. It’s wonderful to see how the print feature will benefit users. Thank you both for taking the time to share your updates.
Great work Everyone, the work and progress on all projects is phenomenal
Excellent work shubham on adding improving the existing “observation and visit API” and adding new features to our SDK for appointment scheduling… Lets focus on adding unit tests to SDK and then adding more APIs to SDKs
Thank you everyone for submitting your demos on time. Now, it is time to submit your evaluations on the GSoC dashboard. We urge both mentors and students to submit their evaluations as soon as possible.
I just wanted to say a big thank you for submitting your evaluations on time. I’m so happy to see that each and every one of you is doing an amazing job with your GSoC project. Keep up the fantastic work with OpenMRS - I have no doubt that you’ll all continue to make great progress!
