Dear Community
We are thrilled to let you all know that Ozone 1.0.0-alpha.8 was released on December 8th
Let’s be clear, alpha.8 is just an intermediary release – the main change is its packaged version of O3.
It is also an opportunity to wish you all a beautiful holiday season
What’s new in 1.0.0-alpha.8
- O3 upgraded to 3.0.0-beta.16
- Misc. improvement to our E2E tests ahead of them being open-sourced in alpha.9.
- We expanded slightly the developers documentation (see here).
Try out 1.0.0-alpha.8
- Ozone Pro can be used here:
- jdoe / password
- Ozone FOSS can be trialed using the Gitpod button.
What does the roadmap look like?
Which | What | When |
---|---|---|
alpha.9 | Structural change in how the Ozone HIS distribution is organised. Docker will remain the default deployment mechanism but will be untied from Ozone HIS. | January/February 2024 |
alpha.10 | Last bits that had to be pushed back to let alpha.9 focus on its structural change. There may still be some actual new features coming here though. | Q1 2024 |
beta.1 | Ozone HIS made stable and documented. | Q2 2024 |
Any feedback on this release will be eagerly welcome either here on Talk or on Slack’s channel #ozone.
