Hi every one,
Openmrs has been selected to participate in GSoD 2019, the list of projects confirmed can be tracked from this link https://developers.google.com/season-of-docs/docs/participants/ . We therefore call upon anyone interested to participate as a technical writer for any of these projects to apply.The technical writer interested to participate can either be a community member or an external member who will submit their proposal for their preferred project idea, the successful technical writers will need to always copy in their mentors while making any queries or suggestions to the community on talk so that the mentors are always posted .
Over the next 6 weeks, potential GSoD technical writers will now
- Look at our project ideas here
- Ask us questions about those ideas that are of interest to them
- Apply to be a GSoD technical writer
- Develop and submit a more complete project proposal for one of our projects
Then we are to assess the different project proposals and use this guidance to select the one that best responds to our needs.
Warm up practices for GSoD 2019
- If you are new to OpenMRS, spend some time to understand the OpenMRS and its usages around the world.
- Create an openmrs account and introduce yourself to the community here
- Contribute to the community by welcoming new members and reviewing our guide.
