Bahmni server configuration

Based on the system requirements to install Bahmni on CentOS, I built a custom configuration as below. Bahmni installed without a hitch and seems to be working fine (though it’s not in use, yet). OS: CentOS 6.8 minimal install.

| Component | Price* |
| Asus Sabertooth 990FX - R2.0 32GB DDR3 AMD Motherboard | 16,980 |
| AMD FX-Series FX 8300 8-Core 3.3Ghz Processor | 10,695 |
| Corsair Carbide Series 200R Window Compact ATX Case | 4,995 |
| Corsair CS Series Modular CS650M 650 Watt PSU | 6,560 |
| Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB DDR3 1600MHz Desktop Memory | 8,740 |
| Asus Geforce GT710 2GB DDR3 Graphic Card | 3,201 |
| Western Digital Re 1TB Datacenter Capacity HDD | 8,230 |
| TOTAL PRICE | 59,401 |

*Price in Indian Rupees as on 2/Jan/2017.

I have tried to build a cheap but workstation-grade PC, with support for PACS module. Does it look suitable for production use? Any suggestions for improvement (cheaper or more robust)?

I discussed your configuration with someone from our Techops/Infra team. This is what he wrote:

I would recommend adding one more HDD and configure RAID 1 mirroring using the SATA controller on the motherboard this should provide a bit more protection against drive failure

Besides the above, he felt the configuration should be OK for running Bahmni.

So I guess you are good.
