XForms - Using custom date widget

Application Name: OpenMRS Version Number: 1.11.5 Question: I’m trying to use the custom date widget for the birth date in patient xform, I did as mentioned in Newbies FAQs

First - In the xform design, right click on the birth date and Change to TextBox Second - Set the external source to date

When submitting using preview, everything is okay, however, when submitting the form the widget works but the chosen date will be like below, I’ve made a demo in dev site here :

This is a bug. Thanks for reporting it. Create a ticket and i will attach a fixed version of the module.
