which Eclipse version to use to install openmrs as a core developer?

Can I use Eclipse Mars to install openmrs as a core developer? and if I do, which versions of Java SDK and maven are compatible?

I believe you can use any version of eclipse, but keep in mind that the openmrs behavior test generator plugin might not work with later versions, but it might be worth the try

fyi, i just tested the test case generator plugin on the latest version of Eclipse(Version: Mars.2 Release (4.5.2) Build id: 20160218-0600) and it works like a charm.

Thanks @ivange94, so @hossam I believe you can use mars, most IDEs let you configure the java and maven versions to use.
