Thanks @jennifer for sharing this. Is there a reason why some meetings are on zoom while others are on uberconference?

Hi @dkayiwa! At some point, each squad or team made a decision to use uberconference or Zoom. Some chose Zoom, some chose uberconference. For those who chose Zoom, we helped set up a dedicated Zoom meeting so that the number is always the same.

@dkayiwa the biggest two reasons I’ve been choosing Zoom over UberConference many times is (1) it’s more easily available for people to join from their phone in countries where the Uber app isn’t supported, and (2) Zoom records the screen and not just audio, so it’s really more useful for meetings where screensharing is happening a lot.

I guess the biggest downside to Zoom is that it requires manual work for some people to go in and find the recording and publish it so there can be a very big delay in getting the recording out. Eventually we should disseminate this responsibility more.
