What's Happening This Week: 15-18 March 2022

Yes, it’s that special time of year when people living in most places in North America set their clocks one hour earlier. This means that a particular meeting might be at the same time - or one hour earlier. To help you spot the change, I’ve put new meeting times in bold.

PLUS!

  • Community Discussion on a Shared Forms Schema on Thursday
  • Global Goods Innovator’s Meeting happening on Wednesday & Thursday.

This week’s cheatsheet is the best place to check and see if a meeting is happening or not.

Don’t we have Fhir Squad meeting now at 9:30 P.M IST?

Hi @richa09!

Last week, the FHIR Squad decided to move their meetings to 8:30pm IST, every other Tuesday, starting March 22. The OpenMRS Calendar wasn’t updated to reflect that decision, so the old time ended up on here.

It usually takes about a week for everyone to adjust to the time changes, so everything should be up to date and correct by next week.

Oh. Thanks @jennifer

There will not be any CIEL office hours this week, sorry.

Today’s Analytics Engine Squad meeting is cancelled in lieu of the Community Forms Schema Discussion

(@jennifer – FYI, I corrected the times for today’s Community Forms Schema Discussion, since the UTC/Nairobi/Cape Town/IST times were off by an hour)

Thanks, @burke! I’m waiting for the day when this time changes goes smoothly… maybe when the US moves to DST permanently? :crossed_fingers:

LOL. For those calls that anchor on UTC, it helps to set the timezone on the calendar entry’s timezone to UTC, which allows the calendar entries to be forecasted properly across DST changes and obviates the need to change them twice a year. I did this for a couple of the calls on the OpenMRS calendar we’ve anchored on UTC that had been accidentally set either without a timezone or with a Pacific (DST-observing) timezone.
