I’m Osaze Edo-Osagie, I am Nigerian. I currently work at Andela as a full stack Software Developer in training. I just started a new phase of my training know as Apprenticeship, and chose the openMRS as my project to work on. I studied Computer Science, software engineering in university, majored in java language. So I’m hoping that this would be a good platform to practice my java knowledge, while gaining all I can from this community.

Hello everyone, I am Smriti Gaba Pursuing my BTech in Computer science with specialisation in cyber security and forensics and I am here to contribute to the openMRS organization with help and support of this community. I am aspirant for GSoC’18 and thus want to be a contributor to openMRS. I have read basic guidelines about the community and read the idea list. But I have my own medical welfare project which I want to contribute to and get it integrated with an open source organization so that everybody could be benefitted from that. So am I allowed to give a proposal which is not in the idea list?
