Hello! My name is John and I am currently living in Saratoga Springs, NY USA. I am currently a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University at the school for Engineering Professionals. I currently teach Java and Operating Systems. Before that I taught IT courses at a community college and before that a software engineer for 23 years.

I also worked on an open-source firewall Sphirewall for about 4 years (2009->2013). That was a C++/PHP/Python project.

I developed on a hospital information system and embedded ultrasound in the 80’s back when diagnostic coding was DRGs.

I hope I can make contributions to this project.

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

My name’s Daniel Haden. I’m a graduate student in computer science and currently work in HIV research in Denver, Colorado. I’m looking forward to contributing to OpenMRS.

I’d like to start contributing by working on some introductory tickets and have one question - how do I get access to JIRA so I can claim tickets?

Thank you and I look forward to being apart of the community.
