Hi everyone, I’m Brianna Matthews and am hoping to become apart of GSoC 2025. I am from Aurora, Colorado and moved to Colorado Springs last year. I am also a career changer into the Cybersecurity industry.
This past January I completed the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, then in February I obtained my Comp TIA Security+ certification. So very new to the tech world and am very hopeful that this experience will help me to finally define where I want to take my career. Before I decided to even look into the tech industry I was dead set on working as a nurse in a hospital so working with an organization that helps hospitals worldwide feels very full circle for me. I am very eager to work with all of you and to understand your perspectives better!
