hello @elai . Nice to meet you
Me greatfully
Hey everyone!
My name is Evan, and I am a medical student in the United States. I am on the leadership team of a volunteer clinic run by myself and a handful of other students. We have been using paper charts since conception of the organization over 2 years ago, and I am exploring OpenMRS for potential use in the future.
I also consider myself a hobbyist developer—I don’t have any formal education/training in software engineering, but I have several full-stack projects that I work on during whatever free time I can find. I have primarily worked with React since ~2018. I first started learning it back in React 16 before hooks really took off. Recently, I started learning Rust to work on a native desktop application for our volunteer clinic.
I’m looking forward to jumping in and learning with everyone! Hopefully this will be something we can implement at some point in the future.
Hello my name is Prajjwal Kohli. I’m excited to join this community and contributing to its noble cause. I’m also excited to apply my learnings of my current experience and also learn something from here
Hi Everyone,
My name is Greg Omebije. I am excited to be a new member of this community. My current tech stack is in Java SpringBoot/PostgreSQL and some JS/ReactJS. Some years back in 2018, I was involved in modifying a fork of the OpenMRS Mobile (Android) for a National HIV survery project. I am looking forward to contributing meaningfully to this project. Thank You.
Welcome onboard and hopefully this time you are not modifying another fork.
Thanks alot @dkayiwa. Looking forward to making contributions.
Hello, everyone.

I currently work for a big bank and also do some consulting for the Government. I have a specialization in UX and an MBA in mobile development. Reach out if you want to know me better
I’m very excited to use my time and skills in something that is changing the world for the better.
I’m getting to know the project and willing to help in anything you guys need. I haven’t picked any ticket cause I didn’t find any good-for-start kind of tag so let me know where I can find a ticket to start. Thanks!!

Hello all, my name is Akshat choudhary and I’m joining you from india. I just ‘discovered’ OpenMRS late last week and thought I’d like to contribute where possible and of course improve my Java and project skills, or even share things I found useful on past projects.
Hello, everyone!
My name is Imran, and I’m an Engineering student from Bangladesh. I’m just stepping into the world of open source and development, and I’m super excited to be here. I recently discovered OpenMRS and was immediately drawn to its vision of transforming healthcare for underprivileged communities like ours. I’m eager to contribute and grow as a part of this inspiring community.
In my university journey, I’ve worked on various software development projects, participated in prestigious hackathons, and even organized programming competitions. My technical skills include proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework, along with working knowledge of React.js and Node.js. I also have a basic understanding of Redis, RabbitMQ, and backend scalability principles.
Right now, I’m diving into the codebase, exploring how things work, and figuring out where I can add value. Looking forward to collaborating with all of you and learning along the way. Wish me luck!
