Hello! I’m Akeel. I’m from Sri Lanka.
I am a First-year software engineering undergraduate student. I started programming and contributing to open source recently and absolutely enjoying my time spent fruitfully.
I’m good with HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, and few front-end libraries like Bootstrap, Tailwind, Ant design, etc. Also systems like GIT which I’m pretty much familiar with. Currently working for few organizations in Sri Lanka.
I’m looking forward to contributing to OpenMRS and gain precious knowledge and experience. Thrilled to make new friends in the process too.
I am a wife and mother of two who loves helping in my community. I want to do some virtual volunteering as well to help out as much as I can to get into the non profit sector.
I’m from New Zealand, I’ve been involved with software and app development for a few years in the communications field. Looking for a project to help out the community while practicing and learning new coding skills and OpenMRS looks really interesting.
