Hi guyz, I’m Leonard Ndongo. I’ve been acting as HMIS Program Manager for ICAP in Cameroon and I’m very interested to continue building strong capacities on Bahmni as I did two implementations in my country. In the past, I’ve been working with another US Company named IeDEA www.iedea.org (International Epidemiologic Database to Evaluate Aids) funded US NIH and implemented by the Albert Einstein College of New York in Central Africa. I was appointed in this organization as Country ICT Administrator and acting as REDCap Administrator. My main focus is actually OpenMRS. I’m software end Innovation Engineer and I’m pleased to share experience with all of you.

Hi guys, I am Regie Ercilla. I just started exploring OpenMRS for about a week now. I am still currently learning the system and modules. Once I am comfortable with the code base, I will contribute. I have been in the IT industry since 2003, doing development and systems administration. Thank you everyone for this helpful application.

Hello @regie you are welcome to the OpenMRS community, i don’t know if in the one week you were able to come across this link. Please visit it and see how you can begin contributing as a developer. https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Getting+Started+as+a+Developer

Thank you @mwaura

Hi Everyone!

My name is Shao Yuan, I am from Singapore and currently studying Computer Science and Global Health and Health Policy at Harvard. I previously worked on monitoring and control software/hardware for aquaculture and have some experience building IoT infrastructure, building on AWS, developing on React-Native, doing image processing with open CV and programming in python, C, C++, Java and Javascript.

This summer I am super excited to be volunteering at Partners in Health in Boston, working under Ellen, Mark and Mike. The focus of my work this summer will be the Master Patient Index and possibly Shared Patient Record functionality.

I will look into the work done by @approce and @darius in the 2015 GSOC project

As well as the work done by @craigappl, @nathaelf and @pgesek on iSantePlus as mentioned in this thread.

And explore FreeSHR, OpenSHR, OpenMPI among other projects.

This is my first time working on and Open Source project and I’m very excited to get fluent with the project, become part of the community and contribute to the code base!

(I would have tagged people properly but new users are only allowed to tag two people!)
