OpenMRS Week in Review

19-26 October 2014

Highlights of Last Week

  • In last week’s Developers Forum, we heard from Agustine Miencha on the AMPATH Informatics Team, who shared the team’s experiences and feedback regarding documentation. Several useful ideas were discussed – read more at https://wiki.openmrs.org/x/MQN-B or listen to the meeting recording at http://goo.gl/GHYt6z and share your feedback with the community!

  • Also last week, @michael announced some news about OpenMRS Inc. and how the new non-profit organization will be supporting the community through in-person events. In addition to partners-organized implementers meetings, you should read more about the OpenMRS Summit and OpenMRS Camp leadership retreat. Stay tuned for more announcements about these upcoming events!

  • If you haven’t yet taken a look, be sure to visit the OpenMRS Ebola Response project category here on OpenMRS Talk to stay up to date on the project.

  • Over the weekend, @cintiadr announced a Google+ Hangout on Air on Wednesday at 11:00 UTC to discuss how the OpenMRS engineering team is using Bamboo for releasing software. Visit the Google+ event page to learn more and make plans to join!

Issues Resolved Last Week

Big kudos to the following individuals who resolved JIRA issues last week! You are creating and building OpenMRS, and without your efforts, we wouldn’t be around.

Don’t see your name? Be sure you’re the assignee when resolving your JIRA issue. If your project isn’t in OpenMRS Issues, you should open a Help Desk case to get it added!
