i am deleting tomcat and mysql and will reinstall again. i will try irc once i am finished re installing

the password should be the one used when installing mysql and it should be complex. if i use the openmrs password the database tables will not get created

i tried a different strategy. i uninstalled everything and used a xampp instead after watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UIdkl2kuC0 , everything was smooth but when i pasted the modules and owa file i get this error.

Well I finally managed to get it to work using xampp and uninstalling all the antivirus and disabling the windows firewall. I also went to java security panel and made an exception to localhost. but it is very slow to load and the fhir module failed to start.

what is the minimum modules i can put in the modules directory to use the following:

create and register patients search for patients manage appointments

i want to use the minimum possible to reduce the loading time!

How long does it take to load? What are the specs of your computer? Can you share the server logs?

i have an amd ryzon 1400 3.2 ghz / 8 gb 2666 ghz ram

it takes 30 minutes form the time i type localhost:8080/openmrs until it actually opens! the demo in the openmrs website takes only a few seconds to load! i managed to make it load faster by setting a rule in my firewall to allow inbound traffic to all tomcat ports

but now i have another problem is that all the icons in the main screen are gone, i see that some modules did not start and that could be the cause, i have to make trial an error with different versions until i figure out what makes it work. this is again why it is important to mention which module version will work with which modules. also with which platform
