Unable to use custom forms built with htmlformentry.

Application Name: OpenMRS Version Number: 2.4 Question: I keep getting this error: Unexpected error please contact your system administrator: error whenever I try to use the forms I built using htmlformentry, plus the forms don’t submit. At first I thought it was as a result of some modules which I installed, but after deleting the instance and creating another one I still get the errors. The forms are for clients who we intend to deploy the instance for.

Can you paste the contents of your tomcat log at pastebin.com?

Thanks @dkayiwa for your timely response. What am getting is an alert message dialog: a toast on the page, and it doesn’t crash the instance. It just displays the message at top right, and the form doesn’t submit

@cpnwaugha that could be a result of an error on the server. Can you paste the contents of your tomcat log at pastebin.com?

@dkayiwa this is the pastebin link : http://pastebin.com/3kUmZBQN

I couldn’t paste the whole thing since I do not have a PRO account, and it’s over 500kb.

You can view the whole thing here: Dropbox - File Deleted - Simplify your life

@cpnwaugha can you assign an Encounter Type to your forms and then try again?

@dkayiwa it worked. Thanks! But I didn’t need to specify the encounterType in older versions, say openmrs 2.3. Is there a reason for this? Or Did I just entirely forget about the feature?

Thanks again
