Unable to comment on OpenMRS Jira issues (read-only access)

Hi everyone,

I recently created my OpenMRS ID and connected it with Atlassian. I can access the OpenMRS Jira issues, but I currently only have read-only access and cannot comment on issues.

OpenMRS ID: varshithreddy Atlassian email: varshithreddy@id.openmrs.org

For example, I was trying to comment on this issue: https://openmrs.atlassian.net/browse/TRUNK-6580

Could someone please help grant me contributor access to OpenMRS Jira?

Yes, I followed the steps:

  1. Created an OpenMRS ID.

  2. Logged in to Atlassian using my OpenMRS ID email (varshithreddy@id.openmrs.org).

  3. I am able to open and view OpenMRS Jira issues.

  4. However, I only have read-only access and the comment box does not appear on the issue page.

For example, on this issue I can view everything but cannot comment:

Request access to the OpenMRS Wiki and Issue Tracker by filling this quick form: OpenMRS HelpDesk. But I have fixed it. You are good to go.
