A colleague is having challenges building openmrs using the sdk

Marven is installed and tested but it keeps displaying build failure.

Are you providing a password for the root account?

u seem not to provide a password for the root account of your database.

wen your required to give the password, the console may seem frozen as in it doesnt display anything, but u just contnue type in the right password for the the specified user (Root is defaut)… try that and post the log again

Yes, thank you guys we’ve finally identified the error.

So apparently, the setup It wasn’t able to connect to the oracle MyQSL server installed on the system instead we install WAMP server on the system and it connects to it successfully.

Did it fail to connect to the other instance because of not having a password for the root account?

No, we don’t really know why it fail to connect to the installed mysql instance. The instance have a username ‘root’ and a password as well. but when we type the password it fails to connect.
