I’m pleased to announce that PIH has put a micro-frontend powered application into production. As far as I’m aware, it’s the first micro-frontend in production use.
The application is a simple patient queue for a maternal health program at PIH Haiti.
It supports filtering and client-side search, and has a number of configurable links.
In the future, we could see this application being adapted to be a more general patient queue, which could be configured to be useful in a variety of programs and applications.
Thanks to the Microfrontends Squad and my colleagues at PIH for all the work that’s gotten us here.
