Testing changes on the SDK

Hi,

I would like to know some of the ways to test changes made to the SDK, am currently working on adding an automatic redirect for local development from the root context to OpenMRS

This will simplify deployments in Docker too when we need to put together containers, any help with this?

@dkayiwa Am looking at development and I already run mvn clean install I don’t think I need to run a snapshot of the SDK Could you point me to the part I should be actually following.

Does this mean that you have already released a new version of the SDK?

@odorajonathan what version of the SDK is in your pom.xml file?

SDK version is 3.13.5-SNAPSHOT

@dkayiwa No actually, haven’t released any version

mvn clean install does not release. It instead installs the snapshot version in your local maven repository.

@dkayiwa So I basically run mvn org.openmrs.maven.plugins:openmrs-sdk-maven-plugin:2.1.3-SNAPSHOT:setup-platform within the project and got this ERROR

mvn org.openmrs.maven.plugins:openmrs-sdk-maven-plugin:3.13.5-SNAPSHOT:setup
