Check out this cool opportunity in Pasadena, CA during March 2-5. I wish I still lived in Pasadena because I would have absolutely attended this. If you’re interested in representing OpenMRS and hosting a booth at SCALE, please let me know!

SCALE (Southern California Linux Expo) is coming up on March 2-5, 2017 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Southern California. For the past several years SCALE has provided the OSI complimentary booth space, and this year they are extending this opportunity to all OSI affiliates for use in non-commercial purposes. Applicants should email bala [@] socallinuxexpo.org) and/or ilan [@] socallinuxexpo.org for details.

SCALE is a community driven volunteer organized event focused on Free and Open Source software. Now in its 15th year the event draws over 3,500 attendees annually from around the globe. Keynote speakers this year will include Karen Sandler (Software Freedom Conservancy) and Christine Corbett (CalTech).

Additionally, if you are an attorney working for an OSI affiliated project or non-profit SCALE is happy to invite you to attend our open-source law program (https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/15x/open-source-legal-training). Sounds cool! I wish I weren’t on vacation that weekend.

Anyone in the OpenMRS community based in Southern California, and might want to represent us at this event?
