Southern California Linux Expo in Pasadena, CA

SCALE (Southern California Linux Expo) is coming up on March 2-5, 2017 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Southern California. For the past several years SCALE has provided the OSI complimentary booth space, and this year they are extending this opportunity to all OSI affiliates for use in non-commercial purposes. SCALE is a community driven volunteer organized event focused on Free and Open Source software. Now in its 15th year the event draws over 3,500 attendees annually from around the globe. Keynote speakers this year will include Karen Sandler (Software Freedom Conservancy) and Christine Corbett (CalTech).

Additionally, if you are an attorney working for an OSI affiliated project or non-profit SCALE is happy to invite you to attend our open-source law program (https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/15x/open-source-legal-training). This CalBar accredited program provides a full day of legal education on free and open-source software. Participants will be eligible for 5.25 hours of MCLE credit.
