We have an exciting software engineering position in Botswana that is open as part of my University of Washington (UW) DIGI team. The work involves supporting the Ministry of Health’s national standards-based health information exchange (HIE) and workflows based on OpenHIE. The architecture utilizes Instant OpenHIE v2 with OpenHIM and the applicable mediators, and supports workflows between OpenMRS, OpenCR, a HAPI FHIR-based Shared Health Record, and the national Laboratory Information System. This position will support this project with software engineering, managing deployment, upgrades, and maintenance, as the partners in the country scale those workflows in production and expand into new priority workflows.
