Session Title: Should We Encourage Forks that Backport Features?

Session Type: Short Unconference Session (small room group discussion, 50 minutes) Birds of a Feather session (after-hours informal meetup)

Description: In a recent Talk thread I argued that we should be actively encouraging active downstream consumers of openmrs-core to fork it, and that this could lead to more contributions back.

That’s a heavy conversation to have on Talk, so some of us would like to pick it up again at the Sumit.
