Hello OpenMRS Community,
During our recently concluded OpenMRS Virtual Community Meeting, we had a great opportunity to review the OpenMRS Roadmap and hear some additional project ideas from the community. It was very inspiring, and we thank all the participants.
If you didn’t get a chance to participate in the meeting, we don’t want your ideas to be missed. We would like everyone—implementers, developers, and the entire community—to weigh in on our direction for 2026.
We specifically want to hear your thoughts on two main areas:
1. What should the community prioritize in 2026? Looking at the current state of O3 and the Core Platform, where should our collective energy be directed?
2. What new ideas or emerging technologies should we explore? A couple of ideas came up during the meeting that we’d also like the broader community to reflect on. We want to know if these resonate with your needs:
