Several small outages during the weekend

Hi everyone,

I will need to restart quite a few machines this weekend.

So there will be brief downtime for the following services:

  • Reference application environments (modules-refapp, uat-refapp, qa-refapp, demo)
  • addons (including staging)
  • OCL and openhim servers (all environments)
  • chat bots (in ndu)
  • quizgrader
  • ID
  • JIRA

I do expect outage to take less than 15m, but I cannot tell exactly which time each one of them will happen.

I can handle ID/JIRA/Crowd server @cintiadr

I will be rebooting the server hosting JIRA,/ID/Crowd at 2200 ET/0200 UTC – this will take less than 15m as @cintiadr mentioned.

Please ensure all work is done. This WILL affect logins to Talk, DO NOT log out during this time, otherwise, your session will be fine.

The amended affected services for the upcoming outages are:

  • Reference application environments (modules-refapp, uat-refapp, qa-refapp, demo)
  • addons (including staging)
  • OCL and openhim servers (all environments)
  • chat bots (in ndu)
  • quizgrader

The server reboot for the server hosting ID, JIRA, and Crowd have been completed and services are up and running normally.

The remainder will have to be handled by @cintiadr
