Requesting JIRA access for contribution

Hi OpenMRS team, I recently created a JIRA account with the email [heyridmi@gmail.com] so I can start contributing to OpenMRS and participate in GSoC 2026. However, I currently don’t have permission to comment on or assign issues, it says I need JIRA admin access. Could someone please grant me contributor access to JIRA?
