Request for someone to explain a little about the product

Hi everyone, Waris Amir from India. I want to know more about the Product, and I have a decent understanding of core Java and Spring Boot, but am new to open source. Can someone assign me Jira access and give a brief overview of how to run our project locally, and assign beginner-friendly bugs to get hands-on experience?

Openmrs happens to have a large number of repos so it depends which feature you are going to work on ..or which area you are interested in backend or frontend ?

Majorly into Backend in Java springboot but I know react and work as a fullstack developer last year

For the JIRA access, you can reach out to OpenMRS Help Desk and submit your request to access
