Refapp 2.8.0 Release Impediment

I noticed Reference Application module version at the Issue Tracking Page is still 2.7.0 instead of the expected 2.8.0-SNAPSHOT. Could this be the reason for @jwnasambu 's mvn build failure

this is the latest pom.xml instance
Don’t we have to release a new version ?

I have changed the version to 2.8.0-SNAPSHOT and put the comment “Will be released after testing”.

NB: It is not the cause of the build failure.
