QA testing for 3.7.0-rc.1 on test3

Hi everyone,

3.7.0-rc.1 is now live on test3.openmrs.org, and we’d really appreciate the community’s help with the QA testing process before the final release.

How you can help:

  • Test the features your team relies on most: appointments, billing, dispensing, ordering, forms, etc. If something feels off, flag it.
  • Try the new work shipped in this release, particularly anything you’ve been following on the roadmap or in recent showcases (drug pinning, medication renewal, capturing of past and future medications, procedures module, billing enhancements, etc.).
  • File any issues in Jira with clear reproduction steps and, if possible, a screenshot. Tag them as 3.7.0-rc.1 so we can triage them quickly or drop the links in here.
  • Note anything that surprises you, even small UI inconsistencies, confusing labels, or unexpected behaviour, are worth raising.

Also, we’d love feedback on specifically:

  • Anything that previously worked but now doesn’t (regressions)
  • Performance: slow loads, laggy interactions, dropped requests
  • New features and if they behave the way you’d expect from your implementation’s workflows.

Timeline: We’re aiming to cut the final release in approximately 10 days or less, so please share your QA findings as soon as you can. Earlier feedback gives us the best chance of landing fixes in a timely fashion.
