Hi everyone,
We’re documenting a set of pre-canned reports for inclusion in the standard OpenMRS bundle. The goal is to provide implementers and clinicians with ready-to-use, predefined views of patient and operational data, so that new and existing implementations have immediate, out-of-the-box access to the reports most commonly needed in real-world clinical and operational settings.
We’ve drafted an initial list based on input from some of the implementer community, but we’d love the wider community’s input.
Draft list of pre-canned reports — what we’ve heard so far:
All Patient List
- All patients’ list (line list)
Program Enrollment & Longitudinal Care
- Patients enrolled in a program (line list + counts)
Patient Flow
- Newly registered patients in a period, by age/sex/location (line list + aggregate)
- Patient visits/attendance workload (line list + aggregate)
- Patients receiving different services (line list + aggregate)
Appointments
- Patients Scheduled for Appointment (line list + aggregate)
- Patients Who Have Missed Their Appointments (line list + aggregate)
Laboratory
- Tests Ordered and Results by Period (line list)
- Tests Done (aggregate)
Clinical Diagnosis
- Top Diagnoses Report (aggregate)
Inpatient
- Admissions and Discharges
Drug Dispensing
- Drugs Dispensed (aggregate)
Vital Events
- Deaths in a period, by age/sex and recorded cause (line list + aggregate)
More Detailed Draft work can be found on the wiki: OpenMRS Pre-Canned Reports Bundle (wiki)
Where we’d love your input:
- Are there reports your implementation relies on that aren’t in this list (Excluding Program Specific)?
- Are any of the listed reports defined in a way that would work for your context? If not, what are your suggestions?
Please share your thoughts here on Talk, or comment directly on the wiki page.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
