Openmrs Sync Module

We are currently exploring the OpenMRS Sync2 module (GitHub - openmrs/openmrs-module-sync2: A new implementation Sync module that uses FHIR and atom feed. Supports parent-child synchronization of multiple OpenMRS servers in one enterprise, where most (technical) management is done at a central site, but patients are seen at many clinics in a hospital network.) on Bahmni Lite to support a single-parent, multi-child use case and have encountered compatibility issues with the Atomfeed and FHIR2 modules. Noticing that the last commit to the Sync2 module was made three years ago, we are curious if it is still actively maintained and whether support will be extended for OpenMRS 2.x versions.

No one is actively maintaining that module. Feel free to take over its maintenance.

Can someone provide context on what domain objects does the sync happens.

Our Wiki has rather extensive documentation on the Sync2 module: https://openmrs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/projects/pages/26936063/Sync+2.0, which covers that and other points.
