Dear Community,

A gentle reminder that the OpenMRS Leadership meeting has been renamed to _Strategy and Operations Meeting(SO)._

As per the norm, we have the weekly meeting scheduled for this Thursday, 28th June 2018 @ 4pm UTC (12pm ET). You are all encouraged to attend and join in the discussion! If you normally attend but are unable to this week please let us know. Also if there are any additional topics or updates you would like to see on this agenda or a future agenda please let us know. The agenda for this week’s call comprises of both Operation and strategy topics.

Any community member is encouraged to join this weekly meeting to bring up issues or ideas, comment on agenda items, and join or lead operations and strategy tasks and projects. If you want to help the OpenMRS Community be successful, please join us!

I mean’t renaming it from Leadership to the new name. That is if you see it necessary. :slight_smile:

That would be great - maybe rename to “@SOTeam”. Or is team to exclusive? Maybe “workinggroup” is better? @burke can we do that?

@SOTeam, @SOWG, or @SOWorkinhGroup seems both obfuscatory and equally exclusive as @Leadership. Who would you be trying to reach by using it?

If you are trying to reach the people most engaged in the OpenMRS Community, how about @omrs5?

I think I was assuming that it would be nice to be able to reach those that participate in these calls for calling out specific S&O topics that need input. But, I really like your stages that you linked to because it really allows for the fluid nature of the community. I wonder about the maintenance of those, but the concept is great! Can we add this as a topic for an S&O call?
