OpenMRS Standalone 2.8.1 Application Startup Failed

Hi Community,

My name is Dejene. I am from Ethiopia and public health and Medical Informatics expert. For the last two days, I have been trying to install the laters version of OpenMRS, which is Oopenmrs-standalone-2.8.. However, OpenMRS Application Startup Failed, inspite of the fact, I tries several reinstallations of required applications as well as the openmrs ziped file. I used jdk-17.0.11_windows-x64_bin, apache-tomcat-9.0.120-windows-x64, and mysql-installer-community-8.0.46.0 all correctly installed without touching the initial configurations. All are working. I would kindly ask you assitance to go through the error messages and settle the issue. I am attacking important documents for you to make analysis.

Can you instead use this one? https://nightly.link/openmrs/openmrs-standalone/workflows/build-o3-standalone/openmrs-emr3/openmrs-standalone-o3.zip

Thank you, Daniel. The referenceapplication-standalone-3.7.1 has worked well. However, this time I have to use the command line “java -jar openmrs-standalone.jar”. I am not sure why double clicking does not work. I have two versions of Java (Java 8 and Java 17).

Can you set Java 17 as your default and then try again to double click?
