Hi All I cant find openmrs organization in Linkedin.com.Is there a specific way to find it.
It would be great to have it since I got a mail saying not to mention google as organization for GSoC, GSoD or GCI.I actually put google as the organization because openmrs was not there in Linkedin

Yikes, we actually have a group on there https://www.linkedin.com/groups/150509/ that I created a long time ago. I haven’t received notifications about requests to join, or anything. My Bad.

I literally agree that there might be a need to have an official OpenMRS page on LinkedIn. This will be a great resource as well to the members of the community.
Hey all! Thanks for bringing it up. I think this is a great idea and it’s been on my list of things to look into. That said, I haven’t gotten much further. Can anyone help by looking into what is needed to make us an org on Linked In instead of a group.

We can choose on from the 4 there
Then we ave to provide the web site of openmrs https://openmrs.org/
And logo of openmrs and some introduction about what is openmrs Then can create the page.

I do not know what happened but I have linked to an OpenMRS organization, https://www.linkedin.com/company/openmrs/, in many of my posts till the last year
@ayesh it is not there anymore, which is why I raised it, since it used to be there so probably @burke or @akanter may know
Apparently, the page has been deactivated. I’ve put in a request to re-activate it. Fingers crossed!
