I would like to propose the release of openmrs-module-datafilter version 1.2.0
Also a release for openmrs-module-datafilter version 2.0 would also be nice, but not a necessity for us at the moment.
Let me me know your thoughts on it, or if you have any objections.
A new release of the datafilter module makes sense. It should definitely be 2.0.0 if you’re releasing from master since the module has been upgraded to depend on Platform 2.4.x.
Do we need to create a branch to maintain a 1.x line of the data filter module (i.e., are there new things added to the module that need to work against pre-2.4 versions of OpenMRS)? And if so, what commit(s) need to be backported to the 1.x line?
A release sounds fine, but I don’t think we need to go to the 2.x.x release line, I actually don’t understand why we went from 1.1.0-SNAPSHOT to 2.0.0 SNAPSHOT, we should have gone to 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT in my opinion.
Hi, actually there is already a branch for 1.x compatibility
That why I did 2 PR’s 1 with the development for 1.x (1.2-SNAPSHOT) and one for the master (2.0)
Hi regarding this, A division was made between version 1.x (to created to maintain compatibility against pre-2.4 versions of OpenMRS),
And a version 2.0 with the current master, for OpenMRS 2.4 and up
